The Gwanchoksa (Temple) hosts the Eunjin Mireuk (Eunjin Maitreya), also known as the giant sculpture of the stone standing Maitreya statue made during Goryeo Period. Stone lantern (National Treasure No.9) and five story pagoda are also located in the temple.

In addition to its beautiful scenery, Tapjeongho (Lake) has clear water full of freshwater fish such as carps, mandarin, and catfish. The lake also provides habitat for Winter migratory birds such as whooper swan (Natural Monument 201), mandarin duck (Natural Monument 327), baikal teal, and pintail.

The Daedunsan (Mt.) hike trail is reached by passing the Surak-ri office at Bulgok-myeon, Nonsan. The beginning of the trail offers beautiful scenery, while Surak Falls and Gunji Valley present additional joy to the mountain hikers.

General Gyebaek (?-660) of Baekjae led a group of 5,000 soldiers against 50,000 soldiers at the battle of Hwangsanbeol where he met his tragic death. General Gyebaek was buried at the site of the battle.

The Ssanggyesa (Temple) is a large temple at the Northern valleys of Daedunsan(Mt.), which is located in the south of Nonsan.
