Explanation: according to Dr. H. Wagner’s research, Korean Gasiogapi contains anti-stress substance. He clarified the chemical structure of Gasiogapi.

Dr. H. Wagner, prominent German pharmacognosist who had studied Korean medicinal plants including Gasiogapi, became known to Korea for his release of research report in 1982. The research was comparative analysis of the active ingredients , eleutheroside E and B, from Korean, Russian, and Chinese Gasiogapi.
The result showed that Korean Gasiogapi had 4 times more active ingredients than Russian Gasiogapi, and 6 times more than Chinese Gasiogapi. The result also showed that Chinese Gasiogapi didn’t contain eleutheroside B.
