  • Hwangchil extract decreases the level of cholesterol, triglycerides Palisade (blood fat that causes hardening of the arteries), LDL cholesterol, but increases the level of HDL cholesterol. Hwangchil was proved to decrease the level of bad cholesterols in blood. Hwangchil can be a good source of effective, natural heart health supplement.

  • Hwangchil helps normalize the level of GOT and GPT (enzymes in liver cell, these levels are index for inflammation in liver cells), and significantly decrease ALP (Alkaline phosphatase, body enzyme, the ALP level is index for liver and bone desease.). Hwangchil also suppress the generation of lipid peroxidation (oxidized unsaturated fatty acids, it is known to cause aging and various diseases) down to 50%.
  • Hwangchil extract significantly promotes the proliferation of periodontal ligament cells and also promotes osteoblast differentiation of periodontal ligament cells. This stimulates bone regeneration. The extract also stimulates the deposition of calciun on the surface of the bones.

  • Hwangchil extract has significant skin whitening effect by suppressing the activation of tyrosinase, which forms melanin. 10㎍/ml and 100㎍/ml of Kojic acid (whitening ingredient that has been commonly used since 1980’s) suppress 15% and 65% of the generation of melanin. The same amounts of Hwangchil show 35% and 98% melanin suppresion. Hwangchil has significantly better whitening effect than kojic acid.
